Roan Blacker, Executive Director
Mr. Blacker has over 30 years experience advising and managing non-profits and government entities. He sits on the board of several nonprofits and teaches at Olympic College in western Washington State

Martin Keeley, Program Director
Mr. Keeley is a trained journalist and professional educator. He is the creator and original developer of our base curriculum that integrates classroom, science labs and field trip integration.

Marnie Laing, Board President
Ms. Laing is an educated marine scientist, wrote her masters thesis on the effectiveness of environmental education at the primary school level, and has developed many environmental science curricula.

Alina Gonzalez, Board Secretary
Ms. Gonzalez, a lawyer certificated in Environmental Law and Social Justice, specializes in legal assistance relating to natural disasters. She is a member of the National Disaster Legal Aid Advocacy Center and resides in Louisiana.

Todd Bohannon, Board Treasurer
Mr. Bohannon teaches marine science in the classroom, virtually and at destination locations, where he integrates hands on science activities into his students’ environmental learning.

Joseph Blacker, Board Member
Joey Blacker is Mangrove Educations’ “Safeguard Officer”. He served in the Peace Corps in South America with financial literacy, and in AmeriCorps in Alaska with youth development. He is the Senior Accountant for the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida.

Isabella Neuzil, Board Member
Ms. Neuzil graduated in Environmental Ethics & Policy, studied environmental curricula in the U.S. and abroad, and taught English in France. She is the Director of Operations at All Accounted For in Phoenix, Arizona.

Joshua William Baker, Pending Board Member
Mr. Baker is the Deputy Registrar and Manager of the Brac Campus of the University College of Cayman Islands. He is an experienced educator and has a masters in applied neuropsychology

Darlene Madenwald, Passed Member
Ms. Madenwald passed away in 2023. She was an educated Marine Botanist, professional nurse, former President of the Washington Environmental Council, and was even interviewed on C-SPAN for her environmental work. We will miss her dearly.
